Our story begins in 1933 when my great uncle, a gelato artisan, and his wife peddled their creations on bicycles in Holland, reviving their venture after wartime challenges to become one of the best-selling gelato garages in the Netherlands. Having grown up in Rome, I embraced the passion for authentic gelato-making, eventually realizing my dream of joining their shop.
Together with my Surinamese partner, we established Padre Nostro in Paramaribo, preserving the essence of original Italian cuisine and offering a true Taste of Heaven with our intense gelato flavors.
